Description
The terrace retaining wall at Spennithorne Hall is an 18th-century structure made of brick with sandstone ashlar details. It is a linear wall that retains a change of level in the garden, standing approximately 2 metres high. In the center of the wall, there is an opening for nine steps. The wall features stone capping and is topped with stone urns that flank the steps. Additionally, there is a ball finial at the step up in the wall level towards the east end.
