Description

Nos 31 and 33 on Castle Road are a pair of early 19th-century, two-storey cottages made of red brick. They feature a low-pitched hipped slate roof with shallow flat moulded eaves. No 31 has two windows on each floor, while No 33 has one window on each floor. All windows have recessed sashes with intact glazing bars and flat stucco arches. The doors consist of four moulded panels and have rectangular fanlights with three panes. The architrave cases are adorned with a moulded cornice over a frieze. These cottages are part of a group with Nos 1 to 5 Bedford Street.
