Description

No. 17 Roman Road is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the left side, there is a four-panel door with an overlight set in a flush wood surround. To the right, there is a four-pane sash window with a flat brick arch above it. On the upper floor, there are two four-pane sashes, all of which have stone cills. The eaves are stepped, and the roof is hipped with a ridge stack.
