Description

Cowfold Grange is a farmhouse dated 1832, constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with a graduated stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. It has a stone plinth and a six-panel door set in a stone surround, which includes pilasters on plinths, consoles, a frieze, and an open pediment. All windows are 16-pane sashes with stone cills and flat brick arches. The eaves are dentilled, and there are shaped kneelers along with stone coping. The farmhouse has two stone end stacks and a datestone on the left gable that reads "T & I" and the year 1832.
