Description

Corner House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It was built in the early 19th century and has some alterations from the late 19th century. The building is made of coursed sandstone with herring-bone tooling on the front and features a pantile roof. It has a central hallway plan, is one room deep, and includes a rear service outshut. The facade is symmetrical, with two storeys and an attic, and has a two-window front. There is a central 20th-century door in a plain frame, and the windows are 4-pane sashes with keyed wedge lintels. The roof has coped gables and moulded kneelers, and there are late 19th-century dormers with plain barge boards. The house has end stacks.
