Description

Prickybeck Bridge is a bridge that likely dates from the late 18th century and was repaired in 1901. It is constructed from coursed hammered sandstone with herring-bone tooling. The bridge features two semicircular spans, with arches that include voussoirs and keystones. The parapet is supported by a raised band of horizontally coursed stone and has rounded ends. There is a cutwater on the north side at the base of the pier.
