Description
Cherry Tree House is an early 19th-century house with alterations from the 20th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with a pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. The house follows a central-stairhall plan, with a depth of one and a half rooms. It is two storeys and an attic in height, featuring a two-window front. The central door consists of six raised and fielded panels, set beneath a divided overlight. There are 16-pane sash windows with painted stone sills to both the ground and first floors. The ground and first-floor openings have painted wedge lintels. C20 gabled dormers are present, complete with bargeboards. The building has coped gables and shaped kneelers, and end stacks.
