Description

The building is an 18th-century stone bridge located in Stokesley. It is constructed from ashlar sandstone. The single round arch is defined by an impost band and a dripmould. The arch is flanked by pilaster buttresses which extend upwards through an abacus and frieze to the top of the parapet, which has ogee ridged coping. All four ends of the bridge have a curved splay.
