Description

The farm buildings to the north of Newby Grange date from the early to later 19th century. They are constructed of pinkish brick and feature pantiled roofs. The layout consists of four parallel long ranges, with the outer ranges wrapping around the inner ones and having hip ends on either side of the entrance. The eastern range is the most recent addition and includes a south gable with copings and kneelers. Most openings are segment-headed, and there are some sash windows with glazing bars. These buildings are included for their group value qualities.
