Description

Gates, railings, and piers located approximately 8 metres south of the house were built around 1875 by Edward Welby Pugin for Lord Beaumont. The piers are made of ashlar and are square in plan, standing about 3 metres high. Each pier features a stepped base, a plain shaft, and a moulded cornice topped with a hound seated on a plinth. The double gates, flanked by railings, have two levels of lancet-headed bars and two levels of rails.
