Description

Eastgate No. 37 is an early to mid-19th century building of three storeys. It is constructed of coursed rubble, with a Welsh slate roof and end stacks built of white brick. The front elevation features ashlar rusticated quoins and dressings, and it has two windows with hung sashes and stone lintels, with a band at the cill level. The ground floor incorporates a canted bay window and a doorway with plain pilasters and a cornice supported on consoles. Above the modern door is a rectangular fanlight. The building has a plinth. It forms a group with Nos. 18 to 25 and 30 to 37 Eastgate.
