Description

This is a house attached to the north of Low Croft in Newton-on-Rawcliffe, dating from the late 18th century with later alterations. It is built of dressed limestone and has a pantile roof with brick stacks. The house has a single cell, direct-entry plan with a rear service wing. It is two storeys high and features a two-window front. There is a six-panel door with a divided overlight in an altered opening to the left of a 16-pane sash window with a painted stone sill. The first floor has two similar windows, and all openings have keyblock lintels. The left gable is coped, and there are end stacks.
