Description
The White Swan Hotel is a public house built in the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later alterations and an extension. It features whitewashed stone with a black painted plinth and quoins, and a coursed sandstone porch. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the stacks have been rebuilt. The building has a central stairhall plan and is two storeys high with a three-window front. A 20th-century stable door is located in the projecting, gabled porch at the centre. The windows are 12-pane sashes with painted sills and wedge lintels. On the right gable wall, there is a round-headed radial glazed window on the first floor beneath a painted arch. The building also has end stacks.
