Description
No. 28 Lowther Street is a house, now used as offices, situated on a sloping site. It was built around 1782 and has undergone later additions and alterations. The exterior features snecked rubble on a limestone block plinth and a modillioned eaves cornice. The building has three storeys with cellars and is composed of three bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century door and doorcase, while the upper floors each have two sash windows, all with glazing bars except for those on the ground floor. The cellar windows are segment-headed and fitted with grilles. This building is included for its group value.
