Description
This barn, located in a field to the south of Crossrigg Hall in Bolton, is a Grade II listed structure dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, designed in a 'Gothick' style. It is constructed from coursed rubble and pebble-dash, featuring quoins. The barn has a hipped roof made of graduated slate with projecting eaves and false chimneys at both ends. It is a single-storey building with a symmetrical west elevation that includes a central door flanked by two blocked windows, all featuring pointed heads with projecting keystones. Additionally, there is a single door on the north wall and a central wagon door on the east side, which has a segmental head.
