Description

Low walls and railings to the south of Crossrigg Hall date from around 1835. The walls are made of hammer-dressed stone and feature segmental coping. The cast-iron railings match those found on the parapets of a nearby bridge, also dated 1835. These railings consist of panels supported by reeded fleurs-de-lis standards on two levels, which are separated by fluted colonettes topped with urn finials.
