Description
The gate, walls, and piers at the main entrance to Crossrigg Hall were originally built around 1830 for the old house. The structure features low, curved ashlar walls with segmental copings. At each end, there are rusticated piers topped with pyramidal capitals. The central wrought-iron gate is decorated with geometric and scrollwork designs, and there are cast-iron finials on the top rail.
