13/56 Barn north of Mount Pleasant Farmhouse

Barn. Dated and inscribed IT 1791. Red sandstone rubble walls, with flush quoins, under Welsh slate roof with coped gables and kneelers. Left bellcote base now with weather vane; a ball finial on the right gable. Single storey, 3 bays. Central segmental cart entrance with flanking full-height pent extensions which enclosed stone steps to loft doorways. Left plank door in rebated stone surround, right doorway with shaped-headed arch and a brick-blocked window.
