Description

Low Woodside is a farmhouse and estate office dating from the early 19th century. It features coursed red sandstone rubble walls with painted raised quoins and is topped by a graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers. The building has banded red sandstone chimney stacks and stands two storeys high with three bays. The central entrance consists of a top-glazed panelled door and a patterned fanlight, all set within a round-headed painted stone surround. The windows are sash style, retaining their original glazing bars, and are framed by painted stone surrounds.
