Description
Cringles is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed red sandstone and features a slated roof with brick chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a four-panelled door topped by a glazed fanlight, framed by two Tuscan engaged columns with a moulded entablature and cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are surrounded by moulded frames. Notable architectural details include a chamfered plinth course and V-jointed quoins.
