Description
This listing describes a claim stone located in the corner of a field approximately 1,000 yards northeast of Blagillhead Farmhouse. The stone is a single piece, roughly dressed, and stands about 5 feet high with a rounded top. It features crudely carved Roman lettering that includes the names of miners and dates: W (indecipherable), T.N., E.N.I.H.A.N., John Elliot from November 21, 1836, and J. Bell from November 30, 1836.
