Description
This description covers a pair of boundary stones located at Tidkinhow Farmhouse, approximately 820 meters south of the farmhouse. The first stone is a rough sandstone shaft from the late 18th century, measuring about 32 centimeters high, 30 centimeters wide, and 17 centimeters deep. The south side of this stone is inscribed with "R.C. 1798."
The second stone, situated to the south of the first, is a rough limestone shaft from the early 19th century. It stands approximately 1 meter high and has a square top measuring 23 centimeters on each side. This stone is tapered, and the north face is inscribed with "S.K. A.W.D 1814 T.C. 1856."
Both stones are positioned to the south of a stone wall, marking the boundary between the civil parishes of Guisborough and Lockwood.
