The Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It has cement rendered walls that are covered by ivy and features a graduated greenslate roof with cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a pointed-arched glazed door set in a chamfered surround, with a small pointed-arched window above it. On the ground floor, there are three-light flat stone-mullioned windows, while the upper floor has similar two-light windows. The left side of the building has a small pointed-arched window, and the rear features a pointed-arched window flanked by small windows with chamfered surrounds. The right extensions and the rear conservatory are not of interest.
