Description

North Bank is a mid-19th century Victorian Gothic cottage situated on Skirsgill Lane. The building is constructed of roughcast with long and short stone quoins, and has a hipped slate roof. It is symmetrical in design, being a single storey. A central 5-panelled door is recessed within a Tuscan doorcase featuring attached columns and an open pediment, above which is a round-headed fanlight with radial glazing bars. Each side of the central section features a 3-light window with Tudor-arched lights, moulded stone mullions, and square heads. Flanking lower wings are present on either side, each containing a 2-light window with similar Tudor-arched lights and moulded stone mullions.
