Description
20 and 22 Cavendish Street are two houses that have been converted into offices. They were built in the early to mid 19th century and feature painted render, with No. 20 displaying chamfered rustication, and slate roofs. The buildings are three storeys high, with each former house consisting of two bays.
No. 22 has sash windows without glazing bars, set in painted stone surrounds, a partly blocked cellar opening, and a doorway in the right-hand bay that has an architrave. No. 20 features windows with plain reveals; the first and second-floor windows have sill bands, and all are sashed. The ground-floor window lacks glazing bars, the first-floor windows include glazing bars and margin lights, and the second-floor windows also have glazing bars. Additionally, there is a yard entrance with a segmental arch in the right-hand bay. Both houses have chimneys located to the left and right, as well as one positioned between them.
