Description
30 Queen Street is a shop and flat dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is constructed of roughcast with painted stone dressings and features a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has three bays, with chamfered quoins. The ground floor is taken up by a shop front that includes a timber cornice and a painted stone plinth with openings for cellars. On either side of the shop front, there are pilaster strips with channelled rustication. The upper windows are fitted with glazing bars and are either fixed or centre-pivoted. The first-floor windows are framed with architraves, while the second-floor windows have plain stone surrounds with projecting bracketed sills. A painted stone band runs below the bracketed eaves.
