Description
26 Queen Street is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features a pebbledashed exterior with a slate roof and a brick chimney stack. The building is three storeys high and has one window bay, with a doorway positioned to the right. The facade overlaps with No. 24 by the width of the party wall. The windows have plain reveals and projecting sills, and they are 20th-century casements designed to imitate glazing bar sashes. The door consists of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a blind overlight that has diagonal glazing bars. This door is set within a reeded doorcase that includes corner bosses and a cornice supported by console brackets. The chimney is located on the left side of the house.
