Description
The Royal Oak Public House is a public house dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. The windows are sash style with single glazing bars and horns. The entrance is adorned with flat pilasters, a frieze, and a flat canopy. There is a large cross-axial stack located at the left end of the building. The rear of the property includes a later wing and extensions. Inside, the pub has chamfered beams and a stone fireplace with a corbelled lintel.
