Description
Ford House is likely an 18th-century house located on the south side of The Square in Lower Allithwaite, near Cartmel. It is constructed of roughcast stone and has a slate roof. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. The windows are mostly paired sash windows with single glazing bars and horns, with a single sash window above the central entrance. The second floor features small-paned casement windows. The central entrance has a 19th-century six-panel door, with the lower two panels glazed. A gable-end stack is present.
