Description
This is an 18th-century shop and two houses, with later alterations. The building is constructed of roughcast stone, with a slate roof. It is two storeys high, with one bay at the front. The ground floor features a recessed 20th-century bow window. The first floor has a four-light casement window. Two chimney stacks run parallel along the front. An entrance is located in the left return, leading into the National Westminster Bank. At the rear of the building, there are segmental-headed windows with sash glazing bars, and an entrance up steps. The entrance has a bracketed canopy and a six-panel door. Adjacent to the left is Town Close, which is three bays wide and features sash windows with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows being segmental-headed. Town Close also has a bracketed canopy and a six-panel door. The front of the building is paved with patterned cobbled paving.
