Description
The building located to the southwest of Belsey Gate Farmhouse is a Grade II listed byre and barn that consists of two sections. The mid-19th century byre is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and features a graduated stone-flagged roof. It has two doors in the east wall and a single door on the north side, with access to a first-floor hay-loft above via steps on the right. A late 19th-century barn has been added to the west, also made of coursed rubble with quoins and topped with a graduated slate roof. This barn includes a large full-height entrance on the left. There is a 20th-century single-storey range of buildings adjoining the north of the west end, which is not included in the listing.
