Description
The walls and gateway in front of Hunter Hall date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of snecked red sandstone ashlar with shaped coping. The central section features rusticated piers topped with ball finials. The side walls are made of brick and are taller on the right side; the end that connects to the front wall is faced with ashlar to resemble end piers. This structure is listed for its group value with Hunter Hall. The 20th-century iron gates are not considered of special interest.
