Description
There are two medieval graveslabs located south of the nave of the Church of St Cuthbert, likely dating from the 13th century. These graveslabs are made of red sandstone and were originally situated inside the church. They are carved with floriated crosses, and the slab closest to the nave features additional carvings of a chalice, a book, and shears, which are believed to commemorate William de Routhbury, the Rector.
