Description

The One-Stop Shop is an 18th-century building located on Market Street in Brough, featuring later alterations. Its front is made of wet-dashed rubble, and it has a graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, and end chimneys. The building stands three storeys tall. A 20th-century glazed shopfront spans the full width of the ground floor, while above it, there are three sash windows with glazing bars in stone surrounds on each floor. A re-set datestone inscribed "I.B. D.B. 1699" is positioned between the first and second floor windows in the center.
