Description

This is an 18th-century shop that was significantly altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with flush dressed stone quoins. Blocked dressings indicate previous openings. The roof is slated with a shallow hip and has two brick stacks. The building is three storeys high and has a single window on each upper floor. 20th-century sash windows fill the upper openings. A 19th-century bow window with glazing and ironwork is on the right-hand side of the ground floor. A part-glazed 19th-century door is located on the left-hand side, and it is topped by a rectangular fanlight. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the streetscape.
