Description

The building between the One-stop shop and the Post Office is a former inn, now derelict, dating from the late 18th century. The front elevation has been retained and features pebble-dashed rubble with quoins. The building currently lacks a roof, which was removed in 1983, and it is in the process of being rebuilt internally. It stands three storeys tall and has four bays. There is a segmental-headed wagon entrance on the left, and a panelled door in a moulded doorcase is situated between two 19th-century canted bay windows on the right. Above, there are three sash windows on each floor. This building is included for its group value.
