Description

Swanson House is a former post office and shop, later adapted into a guest house and restaurant, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, with subsequent additions. The front elevation is pebble-dashed with rusticated quoins on the west end. It has a Welsh slate roof and a stone chimney on the east end. The building is three storeys high and four bays wide. It features an elliptical-headed wagon entrance leading to Swan Avenue on the left, and a 19th-century shop front on the right. Four sash windows are present on each floor above.
