Description

Grove House is a house from the mid-19th century located on Upper Market Street in Brough. It features an incised stucco front with corner pilasters set on a plinth and a band that runs between the floors. The hipped roof is covered with graduated slate and has stone chimneys on the sides, along with a low moulded parapet at the front and sides. The house is two storeys tall and has a full-height canted bay window on the left, which includes a single sash window in a stone surround on each face of both floors. To the right, there is a panelled door with a single narrow sash window above, both set in stone surrounds. A projecting wrought-iron lamp bracket is located over the bay window.
