Description

16 Narrowgate is an 18th-century building with later additions to the upper courses and roof. It is three storeys high with two windows. The exterior is constructed of coursed squared rubble with ashlar in the upper courses. A moulded eaves cornice sits above a slate roof, and there is a brick ridge chimney. The windows are glazing bar sash windows. A mid-to-late 19th-century shop front, featuring two windows and a recessed central doorway, is present, with two richly carved fascia brackets. Modern cement rendering and a doorway are located on the right side.
