Description
No. 24 Fenkle Street is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high with a basement. It features five closely set windows and is constructed from ashlar stone. The design includes a string course over the ground floor, a cill course on the first floor, and a moulded cornice at the eaves. The roof is covered with slate. The shop windows are made of plate glass and have stop-chamfered reveals. The first-floor windows are taller than those on the ground floor. There is a recessed central doorway with steps leading up to a panelled door. The elevations facing Fenkle Street are similar in style. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent structures.
