Description

Nos. 16 and 18 Fenkle Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and feature three windows. They are constructed from ashlar stone and have a plain modillion eaves cornice. The slate roof has shared chimneys. The first floor has late glazed sash windows. No. 18 has an early to mid-19th-century part bowed shop front with reeded pilaster strips, although this has been cut out and replaced with plate glass. To the right of No. 16 is a door with a fanlight. No. 16 also features two angled shop windows made of plate glass, flanking a central recessed door, with plain brackets supporting the fascia.
