Description
Hillside House is a house dating to 1692, with initials R. & F.W. carved on the door lintel. The windows appear to be 18th and 19th century replacements. The house is constructed of pebble-dashed rubble with a graduated slate roof and an outshut to the rear. It is two storeys high and has four bays. A panelled door is set within a corniced architrave. There is a single window on each floor to the right, and two windows on each floor to the left. All windows are recessed Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. Stone copings and kneelers are present on the gables, and the mid and end chimneys are rendered.
