Description
Wingrove Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, with a 20th-century lean-to at the rear. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with rusticated quoins. The roof is covered in artificial slate, and features corniced stone end chimneys. The symmetrical two-story, three-bay front has a central part-glazed door, and a rectangular fanlight with interlaced tracery, all within a rusticated surround. Sash windows are located on either side of the door and three above, all with glazing bars and stone surrounds. Forecourt railings are listed separately under Hazeldene.
