Description
Hazeldene is a house built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features squared, snecked rubble with rusticated quoins, and the lower part of the north-west corner is rounded as it projects into the road. The roof is made of graduated slate and has corniced stone chimneys at each end. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two stories and three bays. There is a central glazed door set in a rusticated surround, flanked by sash windows on either side and two more above. All windows are fitted with glazing bars and have stone surrounds. At the rear, a 1½ storey range projects from the center, and there is an adjoining single-storey outbuilding at the west end.
