Description

This is a barn dating from the mid to late 18th century, located at the rear of Walnut House. It is constructed from a mix of pink and grey sandstone rubble and features a graduated greenslate roof. The barn is low, with two storeys and two bays. There are two widely spaced plank doors set in chamfered stone surrounds, along with slit vents on two levels. The rear of the barn has a large left segmental cart entrance. An extension on the lower right is not of interest. The barn is listed for its group value with Walnut House.
