Description

Ympgarth House is an early 19th-century house. It is built of painted stucco with vertically jointed quoins on a chamfered plinth, and has a graduated greenslate roof with ashlar chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. A 20th-century door with overlight sits in a pilastered surround at the centre of the facade. Sash windows with glazing bars are set within stone surrounds. The rear elevation has similar sash windows, and a central round-headed stair window with intersecting glazing bars, stone surrounds, imposts, and a false keystone.
