Description
Augill House and the former coach-house date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The house has been extended into the adjoining former coach-house on the west end in the 20th century. It is built of wet-dashed rubble with rusticated quoins on a plinth, featuring a first-floor sill band and a moulded eaves cornice. The stone-flagged roof has corniced stone end chimneys and an outshut at the rear. The symmetrical two-storey, three-bay front includes a panelled door with a semicircular fanlight in the central doorcase, which has a projecting keystone and impost blocks. The windows are sashes with glazing bars set in stone surrounds.
