Description
The wall surrounding the churchyard of the Church of St Oswald dates from the 18th century, 19th century, and early 20th century. It is constructed from red sandstone rubble and features a low design with rounded coping stones. Throughout the wall, there are inscribed stones placed at intervals that display the initials of the parishioners who contributed to the construction of each section. This wall is listed partly for its group value with the Church of St Oswald.
