Description
Prospect House is an early 19th-century house constructed of dressed red sandstone. It features V-jointed painted quoins and an eaves cornice, topped with a graduated greenslate roof and brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with lower two-storey, single-bay wings on either side. The front entrance consists of a 20th-century door set within a painted stone architrave, which is topped by a pediment. The windows are sash style, framed in painted stone surrounds, with glazing bars present in the wing windows. At the rear, there is a round-headed stair window.
