Description

No. 81 on Main Street is a house dated 1838, built for John and Jane Noble, as indicated on the panel above the door. The structure is made of snecked rubble with quoins and an eaves band. It features 20th-century concrete tiles with kneelers at the south end and a brick chimney at the north. The house has two storeys and two bays. The entrance includes a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight in a stone surround. There is a single sash window in a stone surround on each floor to the right, with the first-floor window having 16 panes.
